Islamabad- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan expressed shock over joint investigation team (JIT) report of Baldia Town garment factory today that stated it was not an accident but arson.
“Shocking to see such inhuman callousness by extortionist mafia which set fire to Baldia Town factory killing over 258 workers,” Khan said in a message posted on Twitter.
“Our ruling elite has complete disregard for lives of ordinary citizens. There must be an end to mafia politics & armed wings of pol (political) parties,” he tweeted.
The JIT report, which was submitted to the court by the Rangers yesterday, a suspect, who is currently in the custody of paramilitary force has confessed to setting a factory to fire, which killed nearly 300 factory works.
