PTI Leaders Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi and other PTI Senior leaders in the delegation met Dr. Tahirul Qadri in Lahore on 6th February 2013. They discussed reconstitution of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and other important things about Pakistan Elections 2013.

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chairman Tahirul Qadri said that the aims of his party and the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) are very similar. He sait both parties believed in the real democracy. Dr. Qadri was talking to a joint Press conference of PTI and PAT after a meeting with the leaders of PTI. Leaders of both parties expressed conference in each other and agreed that democracy and free and fair elections are the only ways forward. The PTI delegation comprised its Central President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Vice Chairman Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi and others.
